Welcome to the Hotel Birdy by HappyCulture, an invitation to an immersion within an imaginary world, halfway between the British Indies and the Cuba of the 60s.
Right from the entrance of the hotel, two birds cages welcome the visitor. One, empty, seems to wait for a pair of lovebirds, parrots or budgerigars. The other, huge, is a giant sofa.
We can see behind heavy wooden doors - in trompe-l'œil style - a large tropical greenhouse, revealing the bar and the restaurant where the lights are filtered, some louvers, and luxuriant vegetation surround the tables and benches.
The journey continues in the bedrooms; with a peacock, splendid, making the wheel on a triptych frame, or tropics’ birds with colorful feathers on the pillowcases.
Facing the bed, the desk is not without evoking a travel trunk with its woodwork and its compass.
In an ideal working environment of 360m2 and a great place to chill in the games room, the Hotel Birdy evokes exoticism, beauty and serenity.

Such wonderful stay, as always. Fully equipped place, exceptionally comfortable beds, amiable staff. Beautiful area, remote location not far from the centre. I liked the nice swimming pool. The dinner at the testaurant was excellent.
Difficulties finding the hotel location. The address of the hotel is not found by GPS navigation. I used Navigon with updated maps without success, then I switched to Sygic on my mobile phone, but it couldn't be found either.

We liked it because we were near to Aix but had the opportunity to access other nearby places Salon, Cassis, Marseilles fairly easily. Although we are not golfers we could see the nearby golf course was a great advantage. We enjoyed the swimming pool however
The breakfast could have been more imaginatively presented
